I so appreciate your reminder to pray...this isn't over for the families whose lives were torn apart, even though my life went back to normal fairly quickly. I do remember that feeling of community and patriotism that enveloped our country--all the flags on all the homes in our neighborhood. Sure seems like a lot of that good feeling has dissipated since the war began. I hope we can get back to some kind of unity in this country someday. But I don't want it to take another tragedy like 9/11.

I saw that program last night too. It just brought it all rushing back to me. We live in VA and I remember hearing the airplane which sounded so low to the ground and then finding out later that the noise was the plane that hit the pentagon.

I have chills S! I didn't see the program, but I'll never forget that day. EVER!!!! As horrific as it all was, I'm so grateful for the way our country came together. The pride in our nation made me so proud. Many heroes were made and lost that day. I will say a special prayer too. TFS your memories with us.

You should scrap this. I ganked photos off the Web and then just used my journal entry from that day as journaling. I'll need to redo that spread sometime in the future, but for now, it's good enough.

That was a rough day.

love, me <><

Okay I realize my comment is very ill-fitting for your blog entry but I wanted to send you a note and thank you for your comment on my blog today. You are such a cutie pie! The "Chooseday" thing is just something that my dad used to call Tuesday. It's just a word that stuck with me... no special hidden thing that you are missing. I couldn't bear to see you mull it over any more! You are adorable! haha I always wanted to thank you for your encouragement when I was first starting scrapping at SBB. When you commented on my "In Memorium" layout about the little shrub that the dogs destroyed in our yard it made my heart soar! I was so flattered that you even pointed that out to others just to share the humor. That meant a great deal to me. I never had the chance to thank you for that. I'm doing that now. Thanks Auntie Pea! You're a good egg!
How's that for being completely off-topic with your blog entry?
